Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Bartlett & West is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects, including higher-education, industrial, commercial buildings, public works, regional water systems, energy, transportation, and railroad facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for various projects, including higher-education, industrial, commercial buildings, public works, regional water systems, energy, transportation, and railroad facilities.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, scope, concepts, and strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance on the development of project deliverables, including preliminary studies, plans, and cost estimates.
  • Direct and manage the production of project deliverables, including signing and sealing of work products as a Registered Professional Engineer.
  • Conduct site investigations and prepare reports documenting existing conditions.
  • Provide input to project managers and others regarding the monthly project accounting process, including review of time and expense charges to projects.
  • Stay abreast of new engineering trends, techniques, strategies, philosophies, and methods.
  • Participate in professional organizations in the engineer's area of expertise and/or client focus.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in architectural, electrical (building systems background) engineering or related engineering field required.
  • 4-8 years engineering experience in appropriate discipline required.
  • Knowledge/experience of AutoCAD, REVIT, and related design software preferred.
  • E.I.T. required, P.E. preferred.
  • Must obtain professional licensure in the states required by company as soon as possible.
Travel Expectations:

Must be able to travel on occasion, which usually would consist of visiting outlying locations, attending seminars or business meetings. Anticipated travel is estimated at less than 10% of the time.
