Audible Talents is seeking a skilled Point of Sale and Computer Systems Specialist to join our team. As a POS and IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining point of sale systems, as well as troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain point of sale systems, including hardware and software
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including credit card terminals and computer peripherals
  • Perform software updates and upgrades, including operating systems and antivirus software
  • Configure and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Support mobile POS systems and troubleshoot issues with tablets and smartphones
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Vendor-specific POS certifications (e.g., NCR, Verifone, Ingenico)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and adaptability to new technologies and systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with various POS software platforms
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of payment card industry (PCI) compliance standards
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles related to POS systems
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
