Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct a team of arborists in performing tree trimming and clearing operations.
  • Plan and coordinate daily work to meet customer and company expectations.
  • Enforce safe work practices and conduct regular safety training sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, property owners, and utility representatives.
  • Manage crew costs and optimize work methods to ensure efficient operations.
  • Respond to emergency situations and make decisions to eliminate hazards to life and property.
  • Perform tree trimming and clearing operations using various equipment and techniques.
  • Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, and debris.
  • Repair minor damages to lawns, fences, and walks.
  • Service and maintain equipment and tools.
  • Train new employees on proper procedures and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits, and arboricultural techniques.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and circuit maps.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions in emergency situations.
  • Valid commercial driver's license and medical card.
  • Herbicide applicator or operator certification and license.
  • First-Aid and CPR certification.
