Shift Leader

The Shift Leader is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of product quality and food safety. This role involves driving excellence in customer service, maintaining company standards, reviewing food handling procedures, and assessing operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards.
Conducts periodic food safety audits and provides ongoing coaching and feedback to crew on customer service, product quality, and speed of service.
Shares with the Management team day-to-day responsibility for cash procedures, including bank deposits, making change, opening/closing safe, and verifying drawers.
Conducts daily inventory, completes shift-to-shift food safety audit, and sets up daily control sheets.
Reviews facility and equipment readiness, monitors inventory, food preparation, and order fulfillment to ensure adherence to company standards.
Monitors speed with service (SWS) performance and resolves bottlenecks to achieve SWS goals.
In the absence of management, responsible for food and supplies deliveries and restaurant opening and closing.
Requirements:
Provides ongoing coaching and feedback for crew employees.
Provides hands-on training for crew in Learning Zone.
Working Conditions:
This role requires working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with frequent interactions with customers, crew, and management. The Shift Leader must be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
