The successful candidate will possess 3 years of clinical experience in a physician office, hospital/surgical setting, or healthcare insurance company. Key skills include medical terminology knowledge and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial, concurrent review activities and discharge care coordination to determine efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of medical services.
  • Collect and verify clinical data, determining benefit levels according to contract guidelines.
  • Provide information regarding utilization management requirements and operational procedures to members, providers, and facilities.

Requirements:

  • Valid, current, unrestricted RN license in the state of operations.
  • 3 years of clinical experience in a physician office, hospital/surgical setting, or healthcare insurance company.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
