We invite experienced RNs to join our team as a Risk Manager in the Legal Affairs department. This role offers a unique blend of clinical expertise and risk management skills, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patient safety and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing and analyzing medical records to identify potential risks and issues
• Collaborating with clinical providers and staff to develop strategies for mitigating risks and improving patient care
• Drafting administrative responses to patient concerns and grievances
• Participating in quality review processes and contributing to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient safety

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Four years of experience in nursing, including at least two years of clinical experience
• Two years of experience in risk management, quality assurance, case management, or a related healthcare field (or in a legal field)
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas
