Medical Support Professional

Georgia Renal Associates, PC is a specialty practice in Athens, Georgia, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a Full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support our team. Key qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, certification from an accredited MA program, and prior experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Patient Check-In and Check-Out
Greeting and working up patients
Accurately taking and recording vitals
Obtaining medical information and reviewing medications
Handling calls and messages from patients in a timely manner
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification from an accredited MA program
Prior experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using computer systems, including EHR software and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is beneficial
Must be a team player
