Job Summary:

Georgia Renal Associates is a leading specialty practice in Athens, Georgia, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a Full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support our team. If you are passionate about creating a positive patient experience, we would like to speak with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Check-In and Check-Out
  2. Greeting and preparing patients for their appointments
  3. Accurately taking and recording vital signs
  4. Obtaining necessary medical information and reviewing medications
  5. Handling calls and messages from patients in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification from an accredited MA program
  • Prior experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including EHR software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is beneficial
  • Must be a team player

Compensation:

  • Minimum Compensation per hour is $15 and will be commensurate with experience.
