We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join our Tax Exempt practice. This division offers clients expert tax guidance and strategic planning to safeguard tax-exempt status, as well as the preparation and/or review of tax returns for exempt organizations and their taxable affiliates (990s/1120s/1065s) and associated filings, including international submissions as necessary, IRS audit defense strategies, and other pertinent tax issues. Our professionals tackle critical client challenges in domestic federal taxation, focusing on executing tax strategies that align with the client's business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tax compliance and/or advisory services to tax-exempt entities.
- Collaborate as part of a dedicated team of seasoned exempt organization tax specialists.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of client relationships of varying sizes and complexities, serving as the primary contact for both internal and external clients.
- Oversee teams of tax professionals and assistants engaged in client projects.
- Manage risks and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and tax project budgets.
- Engage in and contribute to market and business initiatives beyond the firm.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
- Active CPA, EA, or licensed JD.
- Proven experience in providing tax compliance and/or advisory services to tax-exempt organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing team members and engagements.

Compensation Range: $88,400 - $167,200
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
