Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full accountability for hotel operations as assigned, including General Manager duties.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations to team members.
- Conduct regular monitoring of hotel operations at designated locations.
- Collaborate in the creation of marketing strategies, property enhancement plans, and budget management for assigned hotels.
- Review financial reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Engage in revenue management processes for the hotels.
- Support sales teams to ensure targets are met.
- Conduct quarterly assessments related to sales performance.
- Participate in company-wide sales initiatives and assist in developing and executing sales strategies.
- Ensure adherence to human resources policies and procedures.
- Represent the organization within the business community.
- Contribute to the growth of the management company.
- Facilitate training and onboarding for new General Managers across the Lafrance Hospitality portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Must be mobile and able to relocate to various properties as needed.
- Comprehensive understanding of the hotel industry.
- Strong business acumen to aid in the overall development of the company.
- Effective managerial and team-building skills to lead staff successfully.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact with vendors, employees, and stakeholders in support of business objectives.
