The Field IT Support Engineer will deliver advanced technical assistance and engineering support to operational teams and system users. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of all networked computing systems, including both gaming and non-gaming applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide junior IT support staff, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Address complex technical issues, providing in-depth analysis and resolution strategies while documenting findings for future reference.
- System Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on network devices and computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Incident Response: Act promptly to security alerts and system vulnerabilities, coordinating restoration efforts across multiple locations.
- Network Management: Oversee the installation and upkeep of network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication.
- Event Support: Assist in the setup and operation of technical equipment for events, ensuring high-quality audio-visual experiences.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets and monitor stock levels to support operational needs.
- Documentation: Utilize tracking systems to log work performed and maintain comprehensive records of technical support activities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and enterprise-level desktop support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a commitment to teamwork.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and maintain attention to detail.
- Familiarity with various IT certifications such as A+, Network+, or MCSA is advantageous.
