Lead Mechanical Designer in Packaging Technology

Syntegon Technology is a leading provider of process and packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical, food, and confectionery industries. As a Lead Mechanical Designer, you will play a key role in developing configurable platforms and functions that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design standard and custom orders while meeting customer needs, cost targets, and schedules.
  • Create detailed drawings, bills of materials, and machine specifications.
  • Support testing custom designs on the shop floor and process engineering change notices.
  • Lead technical discussions on complete packaging system solutions for customers.
  • Ensure the function and performance of mechanical designs in our equipment.
  • Conduct systematic design reviews on customer orders and development projects.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project management, sales, software, and electrical engineering to deliver high-quality solutions. If you have experience working with 3D CAD software and are proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, we encourage you to apply.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technology, or Automation.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in an engineering capacity.
  • At least 3+ years of experience engineering machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial design standards relevant to automated packaging machinery.

We offer a competitive salary range of $92,000 - $118,000 based on a full-time schedule, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
