About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Energy, Manufacturing, and Bioprocessing Business Unit, you will be responsible for delivering complex engineering projects from design to construction administration.

Responsibilities
  • Lead teams of engineers and designers on design projects.
  • Perform inspections and observations at industrial sites and construction sites, which may involve physically demanding tasks, including working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with US Building Codes, including Mechanical Code and Plumbing Code, as well as ASHRAE, ACGIH, and SMACNA Standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 5-20 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (RPE) or ability to obtain PE within the first year of employment in Virginia and/or Maryland.
  • US Citizenship required for client projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Significant experience with industrial utility and HVAC systems.
  • Familiarity with building codes and industry standards.
