About the Role

The Automated Packaging Solutions Engineer plays a vital role in our success, leading the world's packaging machinery market with innovative technologies and solutions. This dynamic team centric work environment requires self-motivation and independence to meet customer expectations.

This is a fast-paced position responsible for building, commissioning, testing, and presenting our machines and systems on specific customer applications. The ideal candidate will efficiently build mechanical assemblies per bill of material and assembly drawings using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently wiring machines, panels, and control circuitry (up to 575 Volts) adding electrical components based on project layouts and wiring diagrams (per NFPA 79)
  • Positioning and leveling system equipment integrating and interfacing third-party functionalities into the packaging lines
  • Up/down loading software flashing Firmware performing I/O checks troubleshooting and problem-solving live power and control circuitry issues
  • Setting up parameters and recipes testing and debugging the equipment and application adjusting assemblies and editing software code
  • Conducting a successful customer factory acceptance test demonstrating and training customers on equipment operations and functionality
  • Observing all safety regulations wearing proper protective wear and tools informing supervisor of any safety issues or hazards
  • Contributing to Quality and Environmental awareness throughout the organization
  • Learning product usage and application through system testing
  • Traveling up to 10% of the time
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a minimum 4+ year vocational degree in an engineering electrical or mechanical discipline. You should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience working with and building automated electrical/mechanical manufacturing machinery or packaging equipment.

We Offer

A competitive estimated salary range of $50,074 to $95,403 based on a full-time schedule benefits including compensation bonus and total rewards. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.

Additional Requirements

You will need to lift up to 30 lbs. (above 30 lbs. with assistance) and work in any position for an extended period of time. You will also work with moving parts and mechanical hazards from elevated heights use arms hands and fingers repetitively.
