Position Overview
The LSD MSL Manager will spearhead a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) dedicated to supporting the strategic goals of the organization. This role encompasses strategic planning, team leadership, and the effective dissemination of scientific knowledge to healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team of MSLs to align with company objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement medical strategies.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders and ensure effective communication of scientific data.
• Support the Head of Medical Affairs Field Team in executing field medical strategies.
Qualifications
• Prior experience in rare diseases is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry as an MSL.
• Leadership experience in field medical affairs for 1-2 years is preferred.
• Strong understanding of FDA regulations related to product promotion and scientific exchange.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with KOLs and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Education
A graduate-level degree (PharmD, M.D., D.O., PhD, MS, or equivalent) is required.
