Job Summary

As our Industrial Supply Customer Support Supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day activities of the Industrial Supply team while working alongside them to provide quotes, enter orders, and answer customer and team questions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Industrial Supply team by being the first point of contact for questions, approving large quotes, working on training needs, etc.
  • Provide knowledgeable and courteous service to our Industrial Supply customers.
  • Enter orders, check pricing and delivery, send order confirmation of order with pricing, inform the customer of past due orders, help monitor email inboxes to see when teams may need help, etc.
  • Schedule and attend monthly vendor trainings for the Industrial Supply team. Occasionally, meet with suppliers regarding product updates, new products, etc.
  • Communicate with the accounting department as the first point of contact to resolve customer-related billing questions/issues.
  • Approve timecards and vacation/personal time requests.
  • Attend and provide feedback for annual employee reviews. Assist with interviews and new employee training.
  • Other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required by the position.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Industrial Supply products PPE, MRO/Industrial Supply, and Abrasive Products.
  • Supervisor/Managerial experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, research, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Capable PC/computer skills MS Word, Excel, Google Searching, etc.
  • Ability to maintain a positive & productive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers, vendors, and management.
  • In-office role Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM.
