Job Title: Office Manager

The Office Manager plays a vital role in the success of our organization, PRISM Vision Group. This position oversees the daily operations of the office, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day practice operations, including administrative and clinical tasks
  • Administer policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Manage office finances, including budgeting and petty cash
  • Oversee staff scheduling, time and attendance, and employee performance reviews
  • Regularly assess staffing requirements and interview, hire, and train new employees as needed
  • Ensure staff are familiar with job requirements, expectations, and safe use of facilities and equipment
  • Conduct regular departmental and office staff meetings to promote communication and collaboration
  • Promote professionalism and superior customer service among all staff members
  • Manage accurate filing and organization of patient accounts and demographics
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (BA/BS degree preferred)
  • 3+ years' experience in a management role, with medical office management experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of HIPAA guidelines, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies
  • Solid computer skills, including MS applications (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to mentor and support the professional development of staff members
