Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Automation Engineer to join our team at GABLETEK.

About the Role

  • This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation projects, leveraging your expertise in robotics simulation and process optimization.
  • You will be responsible for developing and configuring robot programs, simulating manufacturing processes, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality results, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement robot programs using teach pendants and proprietary software.
  • Configure Robot Controller Simulation (RCS) in simulation software to validate solutions and processes.
  • Collaborate with Virtual Commissioning and Software teams to develop and optimize robot signal logic.
  • Support site teams during commissioning phases, ensuring smooth handovers and minimal downtime.
  • Provide technical documentation, training, and knowledge sharing to ensure efficient knowledge transfer.
  • Manage industrial processes, robotic applications, and automation projects from concept to delivery.
  • Develop and maintain simulation models, library maintenance, and coordinate simulation deliverables.
  • Perform Part Fly-In Simulations, Human Quick Walk simulations, and Detailed Moving Line Simulations to predict operator walk distances and optimize workstation layouts.
  • Collaborate with MBOM Engineers and Industrial Engineers to update simulation models and match latest engineering changes.

About You

  • Strong background in robotics, automation, and simulation, with experience in Siemens Process Simulate (PS) and MS Office/Google Suite applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and drive process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of CAD, robotics brands (Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki), and industry regulations.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
