Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal specializing in Corporate Transactions. This role presents a unique opportunity to be part of a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services in corporate law, intellectual property, mergers, acquisitions, and related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all facets of corporate transactions, including drafting legal documents, conducting thorough research, and managing case files.
- Serve as a communication bridge between the legal team and clients, ensuring efficient management of legal matters.
- Coordinate due diligence processes for transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Aid in the preparation and submission of legal documents pertaining to intellectual property and corporate law.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, rulings, and regulations affecting corporate sectors.
- Maintain organized and detailed records and files.
- Utilize Clio software for effective case management, time tracking, and billing.
- Assist in trial preparations, including drafting pleadings and organizing exhibits.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of paralegal experience with a focus on corporate law.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; certification from an ABA-approved paralegal program is preferred.
- Experience in corporate law, intellectual property, mergers, acquisitions, and related areas is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Clio or similar legal case management software.
- Strong grasp of legal terminology, court procedures, and corporate governance.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
