Legal Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Coordinator to join our dynamic legal team at LHH in Los Angeles. This role is ideal for someone with a paralegal background or a bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of corporate law experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and Edit Legal Documents: Draft, format, redline, and edit highly confidential agreements and correspondence.
  • Electronic File Management: E-file and organize a large volume of electronic files, ensuring all relevant documents are quickly accessible.
  • Document Execution and Calendaring: Utilize electronic signature and calendaring applications to ensure documents are executed.
  • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research and analysis related to corporate law.
  • Equity Issuances and Cap Table Management: Assist with equity issuances, cap table updates, and equity redemptions.
  • Spreadsheet Maintenance: Maintain various spreadsheets, charts, and summaries.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Paralegal certificate or paralegal background or a bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum of one year of experience in corporate law.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize short-term and long-term projects effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Experience with NetDocs (NetDocuments) and Carta or similar cap table management software.
