About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Methodist Health System. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anesthesia department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked anesthesia supply inventory, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available for procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the maintenance, repair, and replacement of anesthesia equipment, ensuring that all devices are functioning properly and safely.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with surgical team members to ensure efficient and safe patient care, communicating effectively to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with anesthesia equipment and supplies, as well as basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
