Position Overview:
This role focuses on supporting our client through various banking operational audits, including retail, electronic, and commercial banking assessments. The Internal Auditor I is tasked with executing assigned internal audit tasks and activities with impartiality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of diverse operational, financial, and compliance audits, adhering to recognized professional standards to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Enhance the Bank's operations by collaborating with Internal Audit Management and conducting fieldwork for audits.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls based on collected audit evidence, document findings as audit issues, and conduct validation procedures to assess management's remediation efforts regarding identified concerns.

Essential Duties:
- Conduct interviews with management and key personnel to pinpoint areas of concern and strategize audit execution.
- Execute audit procedures, which include identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting processes.
- Review documentation, create summary memos, and prepare work papers.
- Identify significant risks and controls to formulate and implement an audit work program.

Communication:
- Present findings to the Internal Audit Manager or Director of Audit and auditees, offering recommendations to enhance the control framework and ensure alignment with the Bank's overarching objectives.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Internal Audit within the Banking sector.
- General understanding of Internal Audit Standards and the COSO Framework.
- Familiarity with bank operations, products, services, and delivery channels.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
