Bariatric Nurse Opportunity at Swedish Health Services

We are seeking a skilled Bariatric Nurse to join our team at Swedish Health Services. As a Bariatric Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals undergoing weight loss surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and identify patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including pre- and post-operative support, education, and counseling.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal weight loss and overall health outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and weight management strategies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and policies.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in weight loss services or a related field.
