Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Treatment Specialist to join our team at Creative Change Counseling. As a key member of our staff, you will provide expert care to clients struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in substance use disorder treatment and counseling.
  • You will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout their recovery journey.
  • This role involves assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients with co-occurring disorders.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals.
  • This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of addiction and mental health principles.

Requirements:

  • Licensed or certified as a Substance Abuse Counselor (LCADC or CADC) or another licensed health professional with relevant experience.
  • 3 years of experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting, preferably in an outpatient or residential environment.
  • Strong knowledge of addiction and mental health principles, including ASAM Patient Placement Criteria (PPC2-R) and DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively through written and verbal reports.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $ $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
