Waterproofing Sales Estimator/Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in commercial construction to take on the role of Sales Estimator/Project Manager. Your expertise in waterproofing solutions, sealants, and coatings will be vital to our projects' success. This position requires a proactive approach to lead the estimating process for various waterproofing initiatives, ensuring we meet our clients' needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire estimating process and sales activities.
  • Identify and pursue project leads to enhance sales performance.
  • Conduct thorough job walks and execute precise quality take-offs.
  • Review and process bid documents, including future addendums.
  • Evaluate drawings and specifications to gather all necessary information.
  • Develop accurate project budgets.
  • Build and maintain robust client relationships to boost project volume.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Administration, and Accounting teams to ensure precise billing, proposals, and documentation.
  • Support business operations to consistently meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Analyze customer interaction data to expand and retain the client base.
  • Efficiently manage correspondence through phone and email.
  • Work closely with management and executive leadership to maximize sales opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Estimating and Sales.
  • Demonstrated experience in relevant trades.
  • Proficient in Estimating Software.
  • Strong communication skills to maintain open dialogue with project management teams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project Manager, Adobe).
  • Excellent analytical skills for accurate take-offs and budget formulation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective client engagement and team collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
  • Experience in generating and nurturing project leads.
  • Understanding of construction documentation and billing procedures.
