Position Overview

Key Responsibilities: The Retail Operations Leader is accountable for achieving Sales and Profit objectives within the store by implementing strategies to provide an exceptional Customer Experience. This role involves cultivating a high-performing team and supporting their growth, while also focusing on talent and leadership development aligned with structured performance management based on results, values, and leadership principles. Compliance with legal standards and H&M policies is essential to meet the expectations of both customers and team members.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

Sales and Profit Management
  • Continuously assess and monitor Sales & Profit KPIs, taking proactive measures to optimize outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to store operations, H&M standards, and best practices, including effective scheduling to enhance conversion rates and facilitate commercial activities (Sales, Events, Tasks, and Routines) while delivering excellent customer service within the allocated hours.
  • Collaborate with the Area and Store teams to prioritize initiatives and provide insights on store allocations to maintain optimal garment levels that positively influence sales.
  • Manage store maintenance efficiently to comply with H&M standards and initiate necessary actions.
  • Work collaboratively with the Store Team to mitigate loss and ensure compliance with all relevant Audit guidelines.
  • Actively engage in executing store routines and tasks, including delivery processing, garment handling, markdowns, and price adjustments.
Team Leadership
  • Oversee recruitment, training, development, and succession planning for the Store in alignment with H&M best practices.
  • Assess and manage the performance of Store Team members; conduct performance dialogues, development plans, feedback sessions, and follow-ups to enhance performance in line with business needs.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication with the Store team regarding Business Performance, Company Culture & Values, and goals through daily Store Meetings and regular Leadership Meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and security protocols to uphold H&M standards and local regulations, safeguarding employee and customer safety at all times.
  • Promote a culture of feedback within the team and coach the Store Team to embrace this practice.
Financial Accountability
  • Responsible for the store's sales and profit outcomes.
  • Accurate documentation of sales figures and labor hours.
Qualifications

  • Available for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience in a management role is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including browser navigation and data entry, are required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support other locations, attend meetings, and participate in training sessions.
