Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver food and food-related products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight and drive and drop routes
  • Deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
  • Immediately report all safety hazards
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas
  • Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required
Requirements
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Must be 21+ years of age
