Job Title: Truck Driver Class A CDL

Core-Mark, a leading provider of fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry, is seeking a skilled Truck Driver Class A CDL to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Truck Driver Class A CDL to deliver and unload food and food-related products to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL-A, 6+ months of commercial driving experience, and a clean MVR record.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and unload products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, and secure the trailer doors.
  • Complete daily records of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL-A
  • 6+ months of commercial driving experience
  • Clean MVR record for the past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in the foodservice distribution industry
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience
  • Customer service-related work experience
