Job Title: Truck Driver Class A CDL

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver Class A CDL to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food and food-related products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally to ensure accurate and timely responses to questions and concerns.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including loading and unloading freight, checking and completing paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A and meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years foodservice distribution industry experience
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience
