Job Overview

RemX is excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a Procurement Specialist. This role is integral to a renowned company in the beauty and cosmetics sector.

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

Working Hours: 8am - 5pm or 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the procurement of all primary components, secondary materials, and additional supplies to support new product launches and ongoing projects.
  • Quickly assess project scope and requirements, collaborating with suppliers to identify suitable products.
  • Work with vendors to create innovative, customized secondary structures that align with project needs and retail sales goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of suppliers.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and pricing agreements for new initiatives.
  • Ensure all key project deliverables and deadlines are met by collaborating cross-functionally with various internal departments.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate sourcing progress and ensure seamless product development.
  • Manage supplier quotes and work with Finance to maintain compliance with budgetary targets.
  • Keep all trackers, BOMs, and related documentation updated to reflect current pricing and specifications.
  • Explore new supplier and packaging opportunities for future development.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a sourcing manager or project manager in color cosmetics.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive products to completion.
  • Experience in identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating cost-effective contracts aligned with procurement objectives.
  • Proficient in managing costs, analyzing procurement expenditures, and creating cost estimates.
  • Skilled in managing supply chain risks and monitoring supplier performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to adapt to project needs.
  • Familiarity with procurement best practices.
