Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare facilities for all athletic contests, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
  • Set up and break down all events, including the operation of scoreboards and other equipment.
  • Assist with game management responsibilities, working closely with game officials, athletic communications staff, and event management staff.
  • Operate shot clocks, game clocks, or scoreboards during competitions, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop knowledge of specific game protocols, including high school rules and regulations.
  • Interact with and work alongside game officials, athletic communications staff, and event management staff during events.
  • Observe and react quickly to events on the field/court/athletic venue, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for all.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the overall success of our athletic department.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability for competitions throughout the year, with a strong interest or background in athletics.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, perform manual labor, and work nights and weekends.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness, including knowledge of oneself and the cultural lenses they bring to interactions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

Salary and Benefits:
