Position Overview

This position serves as the technical authority for power and control systems within a manufacturing environment. The role encompasses the upkeep, execution, and enhancement of power distribution systems, control mechanisms, automation processes, and field apparatus. Additionally, the role includes the formulation of standards, training initiatives, and the qualification processes for electrical personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee, guide, and synchronize technical operations related to power and control systems.
  • Deliver technical assistance to guarantee systems achieve anticipated efficiencies.
  • Design and adhere to maintenance timelines for all systems.
  • Manage inventory of components for repairs and maintenance.
  • Facilitate technical training for personnel.
  • Set standards for HMI and PLC components to ensure uniform operation.
  • Deploy automation solutions to optimize tasks and improve productivity.
  • Establish and uphold standards for field apparatus and power distribution.
  • Lead diagnostic efforts to enhance system performance.
  • Provide training and certification for team members.

Required Qualifications

Education and Certifications

  • Meets electrical work qualifications as per OSHA regulations.
  • Completed 70E training within the last two years.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Possesses strong technical expertise.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in Rockwell PLC and servo systems.
  • Experienced with Factory Talk View.
  • Familiarity with Honeywell DCS is advantageous.
  • Knowledgeable in power distribution, including Short Circuit and Coordination Studies.
  • Exhibits effective communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Experience in project management and scheduling.
  • Skilled in both electrical and mechanical tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
