Clinical Quality Improvement Manager

UCLA Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality Improvement Manager to join our team. As a key figure in pediatric quality, you will play a crucial role in establishing and overseeing quality processes for pediatric services, striving for excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead system-wide projects of significant importance, with outcomes that profoundly impact the organization's success.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as those set by the American College of Surgeons, Title 22, CMS, CDPH, and The Joint Commission.
  • Collaborate with senior executives, physicians, and nursing leaders to set benchmarks for clinical monitoring and propose plans to enhance pediatric quality in patient care.
  • Conduct complex QI reviews, particularly in cases of mortality, sentinel events, readmissions, and other high-level occurrences.
  • Ensure that insights from these reviews are integrated into the QI plans of relevant clinical departments.
Requirements:
  • Current valid CA RN License, required.
  • BSN and Master's degree in a related field or MSN, required.
  • Strong Quality reporting and data management skills, required.
  • BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required.
  • 3 years pediatric acute care experience, preferred.
  • Previous quality experience, highly desired.
