Job Opportunity

UCLA Health is seeking a dedicated professional to drive quality improvement within the Physician Peer Review/Credential Program. As a Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the peer review process is thorough and effective in evaluating professional practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct medical record reviews to evaluate professional practice standards
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
  • Track and follow up on committee recommendations to ensure timely responses

Additionally, you will oversee the Peer Learning Program in collaboration with physician partners and present key findings, such as reporting variances between preliminary and final attending reports.

This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on quality of care while working closely with clinical and administrative leaders in the department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Current State of California license/permit to practice professional nursing
  • Minimum of five (5) years of hospital-based or ambulatory clinical experience, preferably in an imaging environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Peer Review, Quality Management & Performance Improvement, or Patient Safety/Risk Management
