About the RoleWe are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor w/o Doctorate to join our team at Baptist Health Sciences University. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for educating students in general education core, health studies, and professional courses.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the creation of a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, investigation, self-direction, and respect for individual uniqueness.
- Advise and tutor students, evaluating their academic progression and ensuring they meet program requirements.
- Stay current with trends, issues, and practices within the discipline, demonstrating a professional role.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the department and college through committee work.
- Master's Degree in the teaching or professional discipline, or a related field, with 30 semester hours beyond the Master's in the teaching discipline.
- Work or teaching experience equivalent to four years of college teaching in the discipline.
- Minimum of three years at the academic rank of Instructor or equivalent.
- Current license/certification to practice in the State of Tennessee as appropriate to professional practice areas.
