Senior Salesforce Solution Architect for Insurance

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Solution Architect for Insurance to join our team at Slalom. As a key member of our Financial Services Cloud practice, you will be responsible for delivering client solutions, assisting with proposals and new business pursuits, and developing assets and knowledge management for Financial Services Cloud for Insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Expertise and experience with Financial Services Cloud, including configuration of the Financial Services Cloud Platform
- Expert-level understanding of various components of the Salesforce product suite, such as Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and App Clouds
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the platform
- Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states
- Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of an implementation
- Manage technical scopes and client expectations
- Demonstrate technical thought leadership
- Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used
- Drive business development with the proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to sell engagements and provide detailed estimates within the offering
- Coach and mentor junior technical resources; contribute to ongoing technical development of resources on Salesforce projects
- Serve as a mentor/lead and people manager within the team
Requirements
- 5+ years of Consulting or Industry (Insurance, Financial Services) experience
- Experience and expertise with architecting and configuring on the Financial Services Cloud Platform
- Experience with SFI, including capabilities, processes, and configuration for Insurance Industry
- Minimum 5 years of Salesforce platform experience
- Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems
- Expert understanding of multiple facets of the product suite, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Einstein, Marketing Cloud, Platform, CRMA, Data Cloud, Integration tools like Mulesoft and the App Exchange
- Configuration experience using Salesforce declarative development tools like OmniStudio and Flow
- Awareness of programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and VisualForce
- Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools
- Deep functional and technical understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and other Cloud Computing Services
- Knowledge of integration architecture as well as third-party integration tools, such as MuleSoft, Informatica, Jitterbit, Boomi, etc
- Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for the Senior Principal role is $159,000-$217,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
