About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our team at Fiserv. As a key member of our Cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing advanced Data Protection security controls across our large enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy plans, perform risk analysis, configuration changes, and policy tuning to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Lead the deployment and technical integration of new solutions, improving the resiliency and functionality of our current capabilities.
  • Develop, maintain, and support Fiserv's technical infrastructure, including network, hardware, database, and system software components.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using tooling and custom applications.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in information technology, preferably with a specialization in Data Protection.
  • 2+ years of experience working closely with business contacts to understand and implement Data Protection requirements.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions that align with defined objectives, policies, procedures, and technical control requirements.
  • 2+ years of experience developing API use cases, scenarios, requirements in support of integrations with other platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with scripting programming languages (python, bash, PowerShell, etc.).
  • 2+ years of experience with more traditional programming languages (Java,.NET, C, etc.).
  • 1+ years of experience defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) for data governance and protection controls.
