EMT - Patient Care Technician

We are seeking an experienced EMT to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including eating, bathing, and elimination.
- Obtain and record patient information, including vital signs and medical history.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
- Collect and process specimens for diagnostic testing.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
