About the Job

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The salary for this role is approximately $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients with substance abuse issues. This includes assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and monitoring progress towards goals.

In addition to counseling services, the successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Documenting client progress and treatment plans in electronic medical records
  • Collaborating with other service providers to ensure effective treatment coordination
  • Providing education and support to clients and their families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a social services-related field or equivalent experience
  • Two years of experience in a social services-related position or completion of a Master's degree in a social services-related field
  • Knowledge of substance abuse treatment principles and methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
