Agricultural Specialist

CHS Inc. is seeking a skilled Crop Applicator/Truck Driver to join our team in Stevensville, MT & Drummond, MT. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for applying fertilizer and crop protection products to crops, managing your time in the field, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Apply fertilizer and crop protection products to crops, ensuring accurate and efficient application.
- Manage your time in the field, operating a sprayer/airflow machine while loading and applying products safely and efficiently.
- Develop relationships with local farmers to understand their chemical and fertilizer needs.
- Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner, educating them on products being applied and techniques utilized.
- Assist the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met.
- Perform warehouse work, including driving a loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of agriculture production, operations, and/or agriculture application.
- Must meet minimum age requirement.
- Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays, and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
