Position Summary: The Application Support Analyst plays a crucial role in providing Tier 1 support for various applications and systems, offering essential technical assistance as needed. This individual serves as the primary contact for maintaining and utilizing Hormann applications, particularly SAP, at the operational level. The ideal candidate will deliver daily support to manufacturing facilities, sales teams, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and test system interfaces, upgrades, modifications, and enhancements related to existing SAP applications.
- Oversee system performance and implement corrective measures to proactively resolve issues, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on the effective use of SAP and other integrated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot application and system-related problems to facilitate seamless business operations.
- Document modifications in business processes and communicate these changes to the core team.
- Assist in the development and execution of production-planning schedules and job documentation.
- Ensure the availability of necessary materials prior to the release of work orders.
- Maintain accurate scheduling through SAP or other ERP platforms.
- Identify and rectify inventory discrepancies, managing a cycle counting program effectively.
- Provide necessary support to shop floor personnel while collaborating closely with production supervisors.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to guarantee the availability of materials to meet production requirements.
- Communicate proactively across the organization regarding scheduling challenges and opportunities to meet delivery targets and achieve facility goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree; or one to five years of experience in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and/or relevant training; or a combination of education and experience.
- Proficient computer skills with a willingness to learn new applications.
- Manufacturing experience is highly regarded, with knowledge of the Order-To-Cash process being beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Capable of leading and guiding individuals seeking assistance.
- Must be a US citizen or a permanent legal resident; H1B transfers may be considered.

- Strong leadership and excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to navigate an evolving environment.
