We are currently seeking a Production Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing and optimizing all aspects of production planning, material requirements, and inventory management within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulating and updating production schedules to guarantee the timely dispatch of products.
  • Collaborating with various departments such as sales, procurement, and logistics to align and modify production requirements.
  • Evaluating production specifications and plant capacity to ascertain suitable manufacturing processes and tools.
  • Adjusting schedules proactively to accommodate unexpected changes.
  • Partnering with manufacturing teams to meet delivery commitments.
  • Managing raw material inventories and reorder levels in line with demand forecasts.
  • Ensuring accuracy in NAV related to shop floor consumption and production reporting.
  • Implementing Lean methodologies to enhance inventory control processes.
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned by management that align with the responsibilities of this position.

Qualifications

Essential Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in inventory management and planning.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly NAV, along with inventory control and purchasing systems.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing practices.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience with traditional PP/MRP systems and Lean-driven planning methodologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Windows-based applications and internet navigation.
  • Strong problem identification and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
