Position Overview:

This role is crucial for the effective functioning of our retail outlets.

Sales associates engage directly with both wholesale and retail clients to identify their requirements, respond to inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and suggest suitable solutions.

Additionally, associates are responsible for swiftly addressing any customer issues to ensure optimal satisfaction, while keeping abreast of product features and upholding the high quality and visual standards of the merchandise and store.

Store associates are expected to deliver outstanding customer service while consistently achieving the store's sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service.
  • Assist customers in person and via phone by identifying needs and presenting relevant products and services.
  • Establish productive trust relationships with both wholesale and retail clients.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tint and mix products as required to meet customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays.
  • Maintain cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
  • Support delivery operations as needed.
  • Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about products offered and discuss available options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment work visa status.
  • Must be capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Possess prior experience selling paint and related products.
  • Have experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
