Cashier Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at D&B Supply. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
• Count and manage cash drawers, ensuring accuracy and maintaining adequate change.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including the cash register, shelves, and surrounding areas.
• Process merchandise returns and exchanges, following company policies and procedures.
• Assist with stocking shelves, marking prices, and other tasks as assigned by management.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management, using clear and concise language.

• Proven work history in providing customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
• Ability to calculate numbers accurately, correct entries, and utilize computer systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to work majority of shift standing and lift up to 50 pounds.
