PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Foster a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with the production manager to adhere to production timelines, workflow, and quality standards to ensure timely job completion that meets customer specifications.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
- Assist in all production areas to meet deadlines, including operating CNC machinery and various shop tools as necessary.
- Maintain proactive communication and coordination with team members.
- Provide training and mentorship to shop personnel to improve performance and develop skills within the organization.
- Interpret assembly blueprints and construct cabinets according to customer requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in cabinet manufacturing is essential, with a preference for custom cabinet production.
- Proven experience in leading high-performing teams.
- Hands-on familiarity with CNC machines, edge banders, overhead sanders, slide saws, and various woodworking tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to project completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
COMPENSATION:
Salary range of $75K-$80K/year based on experience, along with paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and a comprehensive health insurance package.
WORK HOURS:
The standard work schedule consists of nine hours from Monday to Thursday, with a four-hour shift on Friday. Overtime may be necessary to meet customer demands and business priorities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This role requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs consistently, as well as to stoop, bend, twist, climb, and stand for extended periods.
