Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or logistics.
  • Experience
    • 3+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skills
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
    • Basic mathematical knowledge, including markups, discounts, and inventory management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of ERP systems, especially AS400, highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills
    • Business-level English required.
    • Business-level Japanese required.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors, preferably.
Working Conditions

Able to sit and work in an office setting for the majority of the day. Able to use the computer and type for extended periods. Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Working conditions are normal to loud while in the office.
