Job Summary:

The Loan Processor is a critical role at CrossCountry Mortgage, responsible for processing loan applications in compliance with mortgage lending and applicable investor guidelines. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and collaboration skills to analyze loan applications, assess creditworthiness, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze loan applications to verify completeness and adherence to established standards.
  • Communicate effectively with borrowers to acquire necessary supporting documents.
  • Support self-sourced Loan Originators and LO teams.
  • Request and obtain third-party conditions.
  • Provide quality loan processing, reviewing files for adherence to underwriting standards.
  • Submit purchases to Underwriting within designated timelines.
  • Communicate weekly with clients on loan progress and milestones.
  • Manage pipeline efficiently, prioritizing files based on contract closing dates and expected turn times.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in mortgage loan processing.
  • Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
