Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation to track progress and inform future treatment decisions
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • An active Massachusetts licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
