This role is integral in supporting the financial governance of projects, including budget management, forecasting, and financial metric analysis within the IT Finance sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate project financial oversight, ensuring accurate budget and forecasting processes.
- Conduct financial metric analysis and prepare comprehensive reporting to support strategic business discussions.
- Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and communication.
- Manage accounting and invoicing systems, as well as capital planning for IT resources.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reporting packages, ensuring data integrity and timely completion of financial close processes.
- Guide stakeholders through the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights on variances.
- Collaborate with IT Leadership to uphold financial accountability across projects and achieve organizational goals.
- Advance reporting and analytical methods to enhance financial transparency and clarity.
- Assist Business Leadership in articulating their financial narratives through accessible analysis.
- Engage with Business, Procurement, and other departments on RFPs, including financial modeling and business case development.
- Evaluate ROI on significant investments and participate in vendor governance to ensure value capture throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance with a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate financial reporting and budgeting, or 8 years of relevant experience in IT Financials and Business Partner Support.
- Proficiency in financial management tools (e.g., Clarity, Oracle, Smart View, Workday) with experience in at least one of these applications.
- Proven experience in IT budget preparation and forecasting.
- Strong customer service skills, particularly in managing expectations and vendor relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, alongside strong presentation and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in project financial modeling.
- Knowledge of IT hardware/software asset management, including accounting principles for software licenses and maintenance.
- Familiarity with project financial management, including individual project forecasting and portfolio-level budget oversight.
- Understanding of IT cost structures for in-depth project cost analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau.

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence three days a week.
