Senior Financial Analyst

Lovet Pet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in optimizing the performance of our internal financing company, Lovet Pay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our data and analytics team to compile and cleanse data necessary for analysis.
  • Analyze historical performance of our loan portfolio, including profitability, write-offs, and on-time payments.
  • Forecast future performance of our loan portfolio based on historical data and expected future trends.
  • Assess usage of financing across hospitals, staff members, appointment types, and ticket sizes, and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and create tools for leadership to use on an ongoing basis.
  • Research external dynamics in lending markets and connect the trends back to our business and loan portfolio.
  • Work cross-functionally with Lovet and TAG teams to successfully execute key initiatives and achieve business objectives.
  • Build financial projections, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Lead the budgeting process for Lovet Pay, in close partnership with our FP&A team.
  • Prioritize recommendations to improve financing and operating performance for the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4-8 years of experience as a financial analyst, with experience working with lenders highly preferred.
  • Highly proficient in conducting zero-defect analysis and building financial models in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and compelling presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to find and pull appropriate data, validate and review data and reports for accuracy and completion, and SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of organization and detail-orientation.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
  • Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize projects and workload.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, take direction, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required and must be a team player.
